This blog was started out of a desire to inspire a deeper love of God’s Word, to encourage women to allow God’s Word to transform us from the inside out, and to share how the Bible has transformed my own life.
Hebrews 4:12 says, “The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
Matthew 4:4 tells us that “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
In Ephesians 6, we are told to “take up the whole armor of God” that we may be able “to stand”. A vital piece of that armor is “the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
The Bible is applicable to your life. You might know you should read it. You might know that it teaches you about God. You might even know that it is the best way to hear from Him and to maintain a healthy relationship with Him. These are all important and good.
I pray that this blog can take you further in your understanding of the power of God’s Word. It is alive. It can literally affect your day-to-day life and empower you to live out the life that God has called you to.
